Winners will be awarded in 3 Categories:

Best overall film
You might have guessed it allready - this category is for the best overall 3-D stereo short film. I.e. films that combine a great use of stereo space with awesome eye candy. There will be one grand price awarded in this category (see prices).

Best stereoscopic story telling
Using space instead of just a screen to tell your story is an art of its own. 3-D stereo has its own rules, too. Depending on camera distance, scale and position relative to the viewer objects may appear comfortingly close, threatening, distant or gain a fascination of their own. Great emotional impact can be achieved, when the new dimension is used wisely. There will be three prices awarded in this category (see prices).

Excellence in visual art
A great idea in the hands of a great artist will yield eye twisting cool visuals (allthough not literally we hope:). Even if you convert existing ideas into 3-D stereo and don’t use the extra dimension optimally you can still be a winner and receive your prices. The three greatest visual ideas will be rewarded in this category (see prices).
